I would love to share with you a little bit about who I am.

Not only do I work with my couples in a professional manner but we also form a true friendship too.

Hiring a wedding planner is a really big decision!

So here's a little about me...

I got the bug and knew exactly where I wanted to be!

I have over 15 years’ experience in the hospitality industry, which started when I managed restaurants and bars in Leeds after graduating from university with a degree in Physical Education.

Funnily enough i always wanted to be a primary school teacher.

However, as soon as I got the bug for customer service I knew exactly where I wanted to be.

Through lots of grit, determination and ridiculously long hours, I became the General Manager of an Award Winning Bar & Restaurant in Leeds.

I returned to Colchester after meeting my now husband. A couple of jobs later, a wedding and two beautiful sons, I am now the proud owner of…

I am hands-on and thrive in high pressures situations.

Years of experience, hard work and training has led me to be the wedding planner I am today. I thrive in high pressure situations and have a very hands-on approach to wedding planning.

You will see me getting stuck in with all aspects of your wedding: from planning and coordination, to clearing tables, polishing glasses, you name it. I’m there for it all.

I’m a multi-tasker extraordinaire, as a mum of two energetic young boys, business owner and wife to my husband Mark. I rarely sit still for more than 10 minutes!

(Except for Sunday evenings where you will find me snuggled under the blanket watching a classic romantic comedy film).

I love watching a romantic film, sipping wine and indulging in warm apple crumble with vanillaa custard…

As you can tell, I'm a real foodie!

Full of optimism - I'm a glass half full kind of person!

My friends would say that I am a fun, caring person. I always try and see the good in everyone and everything. I am a conscientious person and always endeavour to go that extra mile for my couples on their wedding day to make sure that it’s perfect!

On my days off, you will find me at my local gym. I find that exercise really helps me relax and keeps me focused. I also love time with my friends, catching up over a coffee and putting the world to rights.

I am a real foodie, family-oriented person and try to get the best out of life. Friendship and loyalty is important to me, along with love, fun and laughter. I feel I bring all of these attributes to how I conduct my wedding planning business. If these traits align with yours, I may well be the wedding planner for you!
