Country Elegance Styled Shoot: The Tudor Barn, Belstead

Why this venue?

Set in 7 acres of stunning grounds, The Tudor Barn Belstead is beyond beautiful. The Wedding & Events venue is situated in Suffolk close to the Essex border and it really is a hidden gem.

The Tudor Barn is truly unique with its effortless blend of the old and the new, it was the perfect backdrop to create my very FIRST styled shoot!

Louisa May Weddings is the Resident Wedding Planner & Coordinator for The Tudor Barn and so this venue is extremely close to my heart.

The reason behind the Styled Shoot

The ‘Spring Edition’ Wedding Showcase at the venue was unfortunately postponed due to Covid- 19. After speaking to all the suppliers who were meant to be involved over the weekend, I soon realised that there was an opportunity to turn a negative situation into a positive. The florist had fresh centrepieces & bouquets all made up and it seemed such a shame for these beautiful flowers to be wasted. So, lightbulb moment happened! Let’s do a styled shoot instead with a handful of the venues recommended suppliers!

Country Elegance Theme

I wanted to create something simple, meaningful, beautiful and elegant all within a rustic setting. Utilising the stunning venue and its surroundings to demonstrate the diversity of themes and colours to create the ‘wow’ factor that every couple wants on their wedding day.

From the country style hessian table cloths with blush pink table runners and napkins, to the elegant hand tied luxurious green and white bouquet. This shoot has an abundance of happiness and joy. I hope it brings inspiration to couples looking for ideas for their perfect wedding.

I’m extremely proud of what has been achieved in just the two days I had bringing this all together! I can’t thank the wonderful suppliers and their creative minds enough for helping to bring my vision to life. Thank you also to the magnificent Sally Rawlins for capturing the essence of this shoot so perfectly. And finally a HUGE thank you to Henry at The Tudor Barn Belstead for building this incredible venue and allowing me to be a part of it. There really is something so special about this place!
